Comparing high scores isn't much as a problem because there are options already in place... like selecting friends only, scores within the last week/month, I was looking more toward the comparison of achievements, because as of right now there is no effective way to filter through other's achievements, and even your own.

There should be like a little search box.
So You just type the name of the person
or realative...
